DTC Energy Group, Inc. filed a complaint under the Defend Trade Secrets Act against Adam Hirschfeld, Joseph Galban, and Ally Consulting, LLC on July 14. DTC alleges that Mr. Hirschfeld worked with Mr. Galban to disclose DTC’s trade secrets to Ally. The alleged trade secrets include confidential information about other employees
or consultants of DTC and its subsidiaries and affiliates relating to their education, experience, skills, abilities, compensation and benefits, and their interpersonal relationships with customers.
In addition to misappropriation of trade secrets, DTC’s complaint sets forth causes of action for breach of contract, breach of the duty of loyalty, unjust enrichment, tortious interference with business relations, tortious interference with contract, unfair competition, civil theft, and civil conspiracy.
